Key drive led to turnaround
The Saskatchewan Roughriders displayed a drive to succeed Sunday.
Trailing the B.C. Lions 19-7 in the third quarter of the CFL's West Division semifinal at Mosaic Stadium,, there is usually pool table covers sufficient lighting to not need any other lighting if you get up during the night. After Wes Cates ran for eight and four yards, Durant threw a nine-yard pass to Cary Koch. Cates plowed for two yards to give Saskatchewan a first down.
A first-down pass attempt from Durant to Dressler was incomplete, but Lions cornerback Dante Marsh was penalized 12 yards for pass interference. On the next play, Durant took off -- his first rushing attempt of the game -- and was cartwheeled spectacularly by Marsh after a 12-yard gain..
