LED Christmas Lights Offer Quite A Display, With a Bonus
It's the time of year when sparkly lights decorate houses and businesses to celebrate the Holiday season.

Mayo Says, "I take a few days of vacation before the week of Thanksgiving and start working on them and putting them out and then we turn them on Thanksgiving night and leave them on through New Years."
During that time, Mayo used to see a spike in his bill.
That is until 3 or 4 years ago when he got a bright idea.
Mayo says,This same usage level would equate to 70 CFL bulbs or 20 LEDs thrown away Led bulb light in a lifetime. Throwing away fewer bulbs will decrease mercury runoff from dumps, as well as decrease the amount of trash piling up. "I started converting over to the LED's. Once I started reading about them and seeing them in the stores."
The LED or Light Emitting Diode lights have paid off big for Mayo.
Mayo says, "Used to,For the second time in Air max classic the four-year history of the NHL Winter Classic, the Penguins are one of the participating teams for the New Year's Day game. For the first time, they're hosting, borrowing Heinz Field from the Steelers for the noon game. our power bill would probably go up $400 or $500 from the month of December and now we really don't even notice. It might be $40 or $50 difference."
